Just discovered the a great plug-in for helping determine which plug-ins stay, and which need to go.
It’s called the Plugin Performance Profiler (P3). The odd thing is that it’s from GoDaddy; not exactly the first name you think of when you think of WordPress performance.
Installation is a snap, as is running the analysis. On one of my sites, I discovered an unused plug-in that was consuming 56 percent of the plug-in load time!
For me, P3 is much better than something such as GTMetrix — as handy as it can be — because it presents you with actual numbers, on which you can base your decisions.
